About Badges

Badges are achievement rewards earned by completing specific tasks in the main game. Once obtained, players can equip badges in the lobby, and the badge icon will appear next to the player's username above their head. However, if a player has equipped a profession, the badge icon will no longer be displayed above the head.

The difficulty of badges depends on their star rating - the higher the stars, the harder it is to obtain. When first obtaining a badge, players can also exchange it for a certain number of diamonds, a currency that can be used to purchase professions.

As of writing this guide, the easiest badges are "Rebuild" and "Bait," both with only half a star. The most difficult badge is "Determination II," requiring players to survive 500 days with a 5-star rating, which is currently the highest in the game.

Trivia & Tips

• If you want to obtain the Vegetarian badge, make sure your stew doesn't contain any meat, only vegetables.
• Somehow, badges display half a star less than they actually have. For example, the "Determination II" badge displays as 4.5 stars instead of 5.
• The Vegetarian badge is one of the more difficult badges to obtain because carrots and berries don't satisfy your hunger well. It's recommended to play with a team that has at least one chef who can make seasoned stews or other dishes like jelly jars.
• Note that the Vegetarian badge does not allow consumption of meat sandwiches.
• Currently, the Deep Sea Fishing badge has the shortest awarding time, with only 55,000 users having claimed it.
• The Teamwork badge is difficult to obtain because players may leave mid-game, and the difficulty adjusts based on the number of players.
• Deep Sea Fishing initially had a difficulty of 3, now changed to 5 (displayed as 4.5 during in-game badge showcase).
• If the Halloween event is active, obtaining the Vegetarian badge becomes much easier due to patches of pumpkins spawning near the campfire and the fur trader's house.
• The Halloween Spotlight badges are part of the Forest Nights series - these badges don't provide any rewards for the game itself but rather for another game.
