Game Overview

A survival horror game based on a real plane crash event, blending supernatural elements with hardcore survival mechanics

Survival Challenge in the Dark Forest

Players crash-land in a mysterious forest and must survive 99 nights defending against the deer-like monster "Wendigo". The monster fears light - your campfire is your only shelter.

"When the campfire goes out, the hunt begins" - Keeping the fire burning is key to your survival.

Inspired by the real 2023 Amazon plane crash in Colombia where four children survived in the rainforest. The game features crash site scenes, perfectly blending real events with supernatural elements.

Day/Night Cycle & Dynamic Systems

The game features a strict day/night cycle:

Daytime

Explore the forest, gather wood, herbs, nails and other resources to reinforce shelters or craft weapons.

Nighttime

Campfire needs constant fueling; light range determines safe zones. The deer monster is most active between 2-4 AM.

Dynamic survival systems include Sanity (witnessing supernatural phenomena reduces sanity, below 30% causes hallucinations) and Hunger & Cold systems (must cook food to avoid poisoning, need to stay near fire sources at night).

Multiple Endings & Replay Value

The game features 6 branching endings determined by your choices:

  • Good Ending: Survive 99 nights and rescue all children, triggering a cutscene where the deer monster retreats underground
  • Bad Endings: Including starvation, lightning strike death, and cult sacrifice

A profession system adds game variety: The initial character is free to play, paid professions (Doctor provides bandages, Ranger comes with a pistol) cost 350 Robux.

Supports 4-player cooperative play -分工守夜、收集资源,提升生存概率.

Core Features

Innovative survival mechanics and immersive horror experience

Light as Core Mechanic

  • Torches and Lanterns Dual Function - Both exploration tools and weapons, but fuel consumption is extremely fast, requiring precise planning
  • Campfire Upgrade System - Strengthen light range and defensive capabilities, creating larger safe zones
  • Dynamic Lighting Effects - Light decays over time, creating urgency and realism
  • Environmental Light Sensitivity - Moonlight, fireflies and other natural light sources provide limited protection

Psychological Horror Atmosphere

  • Sound-Directed Horror - Creates sustained pressure through environmental sounds like scratching branches and deer bells, rather than relying on visual scares
  • Sanity Hallucination System - Low sanity causes false exits, distorted spaces and other psychological traps
  • Environmental Storytelling - Trees record player paths, abandoned items move mysteriously, hinting at invisible presences
  • Weather Changes - Rain and snow weather increases survival difficulty, affecting fire maintenance and monster behavior

Gameplay Mechanics

Deep survival systems and strategic resource management

Exploration & Narrative

The game uses fragmented storytelling through scattered diary pages and tape recordings:

  • Reveal the forest's history as a secret experimental base
  • Learn about the disaster caused by the escaped mutated deer
  • Discover the inside story of the cult that worships the monster
  • Warning messages from previous survivors

The map includes hidden areas (such as mysterious ruins) where exploration can yield powerful items or story fragments. The whereabouts of the four missing children are key clues driving the plot.

Crafting & Upgrade System

A rich crafting system is at the core of survival:

Basic Crafting

Craft spears, torches, simple traps and other survival essentials

Shelter Reinforcement

Use nails to reinforce doors and windows, set up alarm systems

Herbalism

Collect and craft sanity-restoring herbal teas and healing potions

Campfire Upgrades

Enhance light range and duration, unlock defensive functions

Monster Behavior Patterns

Wendigo has intelligent behavior patterns:

  • Learning AI - Evolves with game progress: Observes player in first 30 nights,试探性攻击 in mid-game,疯狂突破防御 in late game
  • Sensory Deception - Footsteps are deceptive (sound from left ear actually comes from right)
  • Environmental Interaction - Uses trees for cover, creates false sound sources to lure players away from safe zones
  • Weakness System - Bright light can temporarily blind,特定音频率 can repel

Monster behavior is affected by moon phases, with greatly increased aggression during full moon nights.
